Most Aftersell surfaces render through an app block you add to your Shopify theme. If the block is missing, that surface will not show to shoppers no matter how it is configured in Aftersell. App block status tells you which blocks are in place. It appears in the Grow your store column on every store.

Reading the widget

A badge at the top gives your overall coverage — for example, 5/16 blocks added. Below it, blocks are grouped by the surface they belong to, each with its own count: Only the groups relevant to your store appear. Each block within a group is marked Added or Not added. The post-purchase funnels block additionally reports Active or Inactive, since it can be present in your theme but switched off. Groups that contain more blocks than fit show a Show more link to reveal the rest.

Fixing a missing block

Each group has an action that takes you where you need to go — Open editor to jump into the Shopify theme editor for that surface, or Open settings for blocks configured inside Aftersell. The external-link icon opens the relevant page in your Shopify admin. After adding a block in Shopify, use the refresh icon in the widget header to re-check. The status is read from your live theme, so it will not update on its own the moment you save in Shopify.

Why the count rarely reads 16 of 16

A full count is not the goal. Most stores only run a few surfaces, so the blocks for the surfaces you do not use will correctly stay at Not added. Read the groups that matter to you rather than the headline number.
