If you’re still set on parting ways with us though and want to cancel your plan, all you need to do is uninstall the app. This will cancel your subscription to Aftersell. Currently, Aftersell does not provide a “pause plan” option, meaning uninstalling the app is the only way to stop recurring charges. You can use this link to go to Aftersell in your apps list, then scroll downwards to delete the app! If that link for some reason doesn’t work, please follow the steps below to uninstall instead!
  1. Click on the “Settings” link on the bottom left of your Shopify Admin.
  2. Select the “Apps and Sales Channels” tab on the left side of the screen.
  3. Find Aftersell in the list of apps
    Hint: You can sort the list Alphabetically from A-Z to find Aftersell quicker!
  4. Click on the “Uninstall” button next to Aftersell.
  5. Finally, optionally leave us a reason for uninstalling and then click the red “Delete” button!
Rest assured that Aftersell doesn’t leave any code behind on your store when uninstalled. When you uninstall Aftersell, your settings, data, and configurations are retained and will be intact, should you decide to reinstall.

Tips for Managing Data Retention

  • Plan Ahead: Uninstalling and reinstalling within the retention window minimizes disruption.
  • Confirm Details: Since data retention varies from 3 months to 1 year, contact Aftersell support for specific information.
  • Optimize Restoration: While most of your data will be restored, ensuring a backup of key configurations can help mitigate unforeseen issues.
