Why can't I see the checkout tab?

This article outlines why you may not have access to the Checkout plan.

The Aftersell checkout tab is made possible by the Checkout Extensibility update by Shopify. This update allows merchants to insert app blocks into their Checkout rather than needing to write custom scripts.

Which plans get the Aftersell Checkout tab?

Checkout Extensibility is a Shopify Plus capability, so the Aftersell Checkout tab appears on stores that have it. Aftersell shows the tab for:

• Shopify Plus stores
• Stores on a Plus Trial
• Shopify Partner development stores

Merchants on other plans, such as Basic or Advanced, do not have access to the Aftersell Checkout tab. This is a limitation put in place by Shopify, and Aftersell does not have a say in it.
